Brian Murphy is an Emmy Award winning filmmaker with extensive experience directing, producing, editing, writing & developing original content for film/tv.

Brian founded Stone Street Productions in 2021 to find and tell unconventional sports stories, a skill he honed over two decades of documentary production at HBO Sports, MLB Network and NHL Network.  He’s directed two New York Festival TV & Film Award winners, a Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy winner, worked on four Emmy Award winning documentaries, and received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Edited Special.

A passionate and versatile storyteller, at Stone Street Productions Brian has tackled nuanced stories across disparate subjects – from WWE, to poker, soccer, baseball, and cricket, each project uniquely focused on capturing and exploring human emotion across diverse subjects and demographics.
